PHILIPSBURG - If you're heading down Broadway and see some outdoor vendors in Bear Park, you're closing in on some very fresh deals.
The Philipsburg Community Market, formerly the Farmer's Market, has moved its location this year to Bear Park on the corner of Broadway and S. Montgomery St. It's open each Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a rotating variety of vendors serving up everything from fresh produce to arts and crafts.
"We were in the Pocket Park the last two years," said organizer Sherry Ridley. "But this year the Art Fund Association decided they didn't want to rent us that space and so we moved."
Bear Park is located across the street top the east from the Boheme Coffee Shop and across the street south from the Kaiser House Lodging. That entire intersection is located just one block east of City Hall in Philipsburg.
The Philipsburg Community Market will run through September 1, 2018.
If you are a vendor and would like to be part of the weekly event, contact Sherry Ridley at 208.861.5666.
