BUTTE - Ever have that feeling of deja vu? Like you've already been some place? Did something before?

You can bet sure as heck that Forsyth's Shawn Hollowell has.

Hollowell was the Red Team's head coach for the 35th Annual Bob Cleverley Class C All-Star Game in Butte Saturday night and it played as almost exact repeat of the last time he faced Flint Creek's Mike Cutler. Hollowell and seven of his Dogie players could only stand and watch as Cutler and two of his Titans ran over, under and around the opposition on their way to a 56-18 blowout win for the Blue squad.

Cutler, Head Coach of the defending State Champion Titans, was joined by graduated players Andrew Gomez and Colton Grange and a host of other players from around the state. And the Titan triumvirate wasted no time in doing what they do best.

After an opening kickoff return that left them on their own 14-yard-line, Grange took the first snap of the game and ran it 86-yards for the score. He used a crushing block up the middle from Gomez to break free, cutting back to the left and then out running everyone on the Red team on the extended field.  Ennis' Tanner Wood added the conversion run and Blue led 8-0.

Wood's twin brother, Corbin, scored on Blue's next possession, running the ball in from 19-yards out. Grange connected with Tanner Wood for the two-point conversion and it was 16-0.

Just before the end of the period Grange was at it again, this time from the air. with 2:01 to play in the period he found Joliet's Brett Robinson over the middle for a 30-yard score. Grange added the run himself giving Blue a 24-0 lead and the rout was on.

The Grange-Robinson connection would repeat itself midway in the third quarter to make it a 36-12 advantage.

Grange was named the game's Most Valuable Player, amassing 252 of total offense (153 rushing for one TD, 99 passing for two TDs) and an interception on defense. It was only fitting as Grange was also named both the Western Conference's Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year.

And if that wasn't enough, his grandmother won the 50-50 drawing at the start of the fourth quarter.

While there aren't any stats that show it, Gomez was a chief reason the Red team could never get its offense into full gear. He put constant pressure on the QB and helped contained what could have been a potent running game.

"Hey, this was awesome," said a happy Cutler after the game. "How about those Titans? They represented didn't they?

"Gomez played a huge game. You have to realize that every time Colton went back to throw those passes, he could have sat back there and had a sandwich because of his blocking."

When asked if he saw this game as the cap to one season or the start of the next, Cutler responded, "Interesting question. I'm gonna take both because its bittersweet to see those two movin' on, but it's exciting to get rolling again."

Returning players for Flint Creek will have several camps they'll attend this summer before gathering for practices in anticipation of their first game August 25 against Clark Fork in a Class C football showcase at Narachae Stadium in Butte.
